Investing Is Not Just For Men – What Do You Do With Your Money.

It’s an irony that even though it’s been proven that women are better than men when it comes to investing returns, we have very few women that involve themselves in investment.

Unfortunately, women all over the world invest 40% less money than men do. We have more men aggressively putting their money into different investments while women like to hold on their cash. This is because, women are afraid of losing money, while men are afraid of losing out on investment opportunities. Therefore, while men invest, women keep having emergency funds that sit in their bank doing nothing.

Women need to take a leap of faith and start investing more. This would help them to have the financial freedom and the sense of pride and confidence that comes with reaching your financial goals. It is true that it is not wise to invest all you have, but a percentage over time would become a lot. Investing and watching your profit increase over time is empowering and reduces your fear of not being able to achieve your plans for the future.

This is how you can change the narrative:

  • Start Small: You don’t have to invest all you have at once. You can start with little of your savings or income, build your portfolio little by little for a while until you realize you’ve got the hang of it.
  • Control your income: This is because people spend more than they make and hardly save. The rule of investment is not to spend more than you make, save regularly, and know the market you are investing in. Follow these rules and it would guide you.
  • Consult a professional: You should have a financial planner to guide you along the best way to go about your investment. This is where a lot of people get it wrong; you don’t invest just because your neighbor is investing in something. You need to know what works best for you.

Take the bold step today, start investing wisely and purposefully and secure your future.
